On February 29, ESPN’s Pablo Torre ’03 moderated a discussion on The Business of Sports which featured Sunil Gulati P’16 (President, U.S. Soccer Federation and FIFA Executive Committee member) and Joseph Leccese ’78 (Chair, Proskauer).

"We tend to consume sports from the viewpoint of the end of an assembly line: after it has been manufactured, produced, and legislated," said Torre. "But if you go further back up the assembly line, there is a room—sometimes a figurative room and often times a literal room—where very important decisions are made. We are lucky to have here two people who reside in that room quite often."

Gulati and Lecesse provided personal insights and reflections on the state of multiple sports, both from a domestic and international perspective. Students, alumni, and friends filled the auditorium for the evening and posed numerous questions to the panel.
