Regis Celebrates Installation of Archbishop Ronald Hicks

The Regis community joins Catholics throughout New York in celebrating today's installation of Archbishop Ronald Hicks. President Rev. Christopher J. Devron, SJ, Adam Beckford ’28, Agnieszka Beckford P’28, Teddy Millard ’26, and Charlie Millard P’26 represented Regis at today's installation Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

We pray that God guide Archbishop Hicks as he begins his leadership of our New York Catholic community. Earlier today, we began our day with the following prayer:

Good and gracious God,
We celebrate the installation of your beloved servant and shepherd,
Ronald Hicks as the new Archbishop of New York.
Bless him with humility and courage to lead your holy people in a world yearning for justice.
Bless him with compassion and mercy so that he may be a beacon of hope.
May his example and stewardship compel us to be faithful witnesses of the Gospel, to love and serve one another, 
and to protect the dignity You have bestowed in each of us.
We ask all these things with You, through You, and in You.
