Regis seniors and their families gathered yesterday evening at the annual Baccalaureate Mass at the Church of Saint Ignatius Loyola. The Mass provided the Class of 2024 an opportunity to join in prayer one final time before graduation and to reflect on their four years at Regis.

President Rev. Christopher Devron, SJ, served as the principal celebrant of the Mass, which was concelebrated by history and Latin teacher Rev. Arthur Bender, SJ, '67.

"The grace of the Eucharist is with you as you go out from these doors, from 84th Street to points all over," said Fr. Devron in his homily. "Don't forget to return to the Eucharist during your four years away. Don't forget to cling to the Eucharist, because it's your light."

During the Mass, seniors were invited to the altar to receive their St. John Francis Regis medals, honoring their achievements over the past four years. The Mass also recognized the senior class's extraordinary commitment to being men for others, highlighting their involvement at over 80 service sites this year.
