Former Teacher Kate Brody Returns to Discuss Debut Novel

Author Kate Brody, who taught English at Regis from 2016 to 2019, returned to 84th Street today to discuss her debut novel, Rabbit Hole. Brody read an excerpt from her book and answered questions from students and faculty about the writing process.

Brody also joined Dr. Allison Tyndall’s junior English class to lead creative writing exercises and discuss character and voice.

The novel, released on January 2, explores the dark side of true crime fandom and the blurry lines of female friendship. Brody began writing the novel in earnest in 2019 while on maternity leave at Regis.
