Ultimate Frisbee Team Wins City Interscholastic Division Championship

Regis’s ultimate frisbee team capped off an undefeated season yesterday, defeating Fordham Prep 14-9 to win the city Interscholastic Division championship. Seniors led an energetic Regis team from start to finish, while spirited supporters packed the Nest on the sidelines.

Against a formidable Fordham Prep team, Regis played lockdown defense to hold the Rams to two second-half points. Joey Rao ’24, Charlie Mango ’25, and Brendan Moran ’26 guided the flow on offense, while Liam Bergeron ’25 helped anchor a staunch defense. Solid handling and marking by Jake Koehler ’24 bookended a great two-way performance.

The title is Regis’s second in a row and third in the last four years. The team will head to Albany this weekend to contend for the state championship.
