Regis's freshman basketball team won the CHSAA B Division championship on Saturday with a victory over Moore Catholic. Coached by Dr. James Shanahan ’77 and Mr. Joshua Travatello, the team capped its season with a 54-22 win in the city title game.

The championship comes at the end of a successful season that saw the team take down many rivals and schools from higher divisions. One highlight came in the annual tripleheader against Xavier, which they won in dramatic fashion on an Aidan Cha '27 buzzer-beater.
