“Today our prime educational objective must be to form men-for-others; men who will live not for themselves but for God and his Christ - for the God-man who lived and died for all the world; men who cannot even conceive of love of God which does not include love for the least of their neighbors; men and women completely convinced that love of God which does not issue in justice for others is a farce."

The above quote guides how we structure our religious formation programming here at Regis. We want our students to be committed to social justice and to work for a kinder and gentler world, and we want their commitment to the common good to flow from their relationship with the living God… we want them to be Men for Others, Men whose love of God results in a love of neighbor – especially the least and the last among us.

To that end, our students participate in retreats each year – opportunities for them, in community, to invest in a relationship with our God, and to have God’s love for them be the foundational truth upon which their lives of faith are built. Between the knowledge they are gaining about God in theology classes, the experience to know God through retreats and the Eucharist, and the opportunity to encounter God in Christian Service, we hope to form loving, compassionate young men of faith to be leaders in our Church and our world.
