Spotlight:
Regis Centennial Athletics Homecoming
From the 1930 Metropolitan High School Football Champions, to the 2014 New York State Basketball Champions, Regis boasts a century's-worth of sports highlights. Join the Regis community on Monday, December 15 for a special sports night. Mike Breen P'09'15, New York Knicks Play-By-Play Announcer, and Walt "Clyde" Frazier, New York Knicks Analyst and member of the NBA Hall of Fame, will join us for an evening discussion and hold a Q&A with the audience. Former Regis Varsity athletes are invited to attend a pre-event reception with other alumni from their sport. All in attendance are invited to a post-event reception. Click for more information |

A Look Back |

The recent literary successes of Phil Klay '01, Matt Thomas '93, and Mark Mazzetti '92 has made us wonder—how many other books have been authored by Regians? We have begun a comprehensive list here; help us complete it. Email the names of other Regis authors and their book titles to centennial@regis.org. |

A group of alumni and friends of Regis joined Rev. Philip G. Judge, S.J. '80 on a pilgrimage to Spain and Rome this summer as part of the Centennial year event celebrations. The pilgrimage included guided visits to historical and religious sites and liturgies at inspiring chapels and churches. Provided here is a sampling of archived photographs documenting that trip. |

In the September 2014 Centennial eNews we provided background on the 1930 Regis Football champions, possibly the first sports championship team in Regis history. Here we recap the 1948 basketball champions, who earned arguably the most impressive sports accomplishment in Regis history, the title of National Schoolboy Champions. |
