Ticket Lottery for The Centennial Mass
The Centennial Mass will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2014 in the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola. Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will preside with Bishop Frank J. Caggiano '77, Bishop of Bridgeport, serving as Homilist. Due to capacity constraints, tickets to the Mass will be awarded through a lottery system. You may enter the lottery using the link below. The deadline to enter is September 15. Tickets will be mailed to lottery winners in late September and are required to attend the mass.

A Look Back
The Waterfront Priest
John M. Corridan, S.J. '28 (1911-1984) fought against corruption and organized crime on the New York City waterfront. He served as the inspiration for the character of Father Barry in the classic film On the Waterfront. An article about Fr. Corridan, which was first published in the Summer 2009 Regis Alumni News Magazine, is republished here.

Robert Giroux '31
Robert F. Giroux '31 (1914-2008) was an influential editor and publisher, working with some of the most recognizable names in 20th century fiction including T.S. Eliot, George Orwell and Virginia Woolf. He also published the first books written by Jack Kerouac and Flannery O'Connor. Read more about his career here.

An Early Graduate
The Summer 2009 Alumni News Magazine featured a story about archived information found on Raymond P. Whearty, a member of the Pioneer class of 1918. The files provide a small glimpse into the life of one of the first Regis graduates. A reprint of that article is provided here.
