Regis Celebrates Ignatian Mission Week

All this week, Regis has been celebrating Ignatian Mission Week, which gathered the school community to reflect on our Jesuit tradition through prayer and interactive discussions. The programming focused on deepening our engagement with this year's annual theme, "Across the Bridge," which serves as a template for our Jesuit mission of reconciliation and justice.

The week began with an opening assembly in which the community discussed the lives of Jesuit saints and living out Jesuit values everyday. Programming continued with advisement group-based conversations and breakout sessions on service and immersions.

Ignatian Mission Week concluded on Friday with a schoolwide Mass celebrated by the USA East Province’s Assistant Provost for Vocations, Rev. Patrick Nolan, SJ. During his homily, Fr. Nolan reflected on the teachings of Saint Ignatius Loyola and how sharing the Jesuit tradition connects us to one another. He encouraged students to lead a life of holiness through a commitment to God and to others.
