The Regis Centennial Web Site—home base for our hundredth anniversary reflections and celebrations—is now live. The historic building we continue to occupy on New York's Upper East Side today and the enviable history of service and achievement of generations of graduates originated in the imagination of one widow whose parish was across the street and whose pastor championed the ideal of free Jesuit education. She, and later her daughters and son, gave shape to imagination and fully supported this unique American Catholic educational experiment for half a century. After their passing, our alumni and friends have continued their annual and special giving that allow Regis to remain the only all-scholarship Catholic school in the United States. What a heady first century indeed!
