Regians Attend 2025 Arrupe Leaders Summit

Over winter recess, six Regis juniors attended the 2025 Arrupe Leaders Summit in Sparks, Md. Sponsored by the Ignatian Solidarity Network, the summit invites emerging student leaders from high schools and parishes nationwide to deepen their understanding of "a faith that does justice."
Throughout the weekend's program, students had the chance to explore various leadership techniques through the lens of Rev. Pedro Arrupe, SJ's life. Fr. Arrupe, a former Superior General of the Society of Jesus, is known for demonstrating an emphasis on serving those in need, as well as recognizing social justice as central to one's faith.
At the summit, students participated in sessions to learn more about how to be leaders around social justice at their schools. Students participated in activities to build leadership skills and collaborated with peers from other schools to learn about different approaches to integrating faith and social justice.
