Seniors and Families Celebrate Baccalaureate Mass

On Tuesday, May 28, Regis High School seniors and their families joined the faculty and staff at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola for the 2019 Baccalaureate Mass. The Mass celebrated and recognized the many spiritual and service activities that the Class of 2019 took part in at the school.

In his homily, Rev. Daniel K. Lahart, the president of Regis, encouraged the graduating students to continue to pursue the religious growth that was fostered during the past four years. “No matter what road you take, no matter if you remain committed to your faith or not – and I hope you do – God will remain faithful to you,” Fr. Lahart said. “You are never alone.”

During the Mass, seniors were invited to come forward to receive St. John Francis Regis medals, which were distributed by the students’ faculty advisors. A collection of photographs from the Mass can be seen below.

The Class of 2019 will graduate from Regis on Saturday, June 1 at St. Ignatius at 11:00 a.m. EDT. The ceremony will be broadcast live at regis.org/livestream.
